El cine como metáfora de la memoria y la memoria como teatro de lo vivido. Sobre esta doble premisa se construye Super8.
Supongamos que la memoria es el cuarto en el que almacenamos todas las viejas películas caseras que fuimos recopilando a lo largo de la vida. El acto de recordar equivale a sacar una película de su lata, ponerla a andar en un proyector y sentarse ante la pantalla para recuperar esa escena y vivirla de nuevo.

Poñamos que a memoria é o cuarto no que almacenamos todas as vellas películas caseiras que fomos recompilando ao longo da vida. O acto de lembrar equivale a sacar unha película da súa lata, poñela a andar no proxector e sentar ante a pantalla para recuperar esa escena e vivila de novo.

Cinema as a metaphor for memory and memory as a theatre of the lived experience. Super8 is built on this double premise.
Let's suppose that memory is the fourth in which we store all the old home movies that we've been collecting throughout life. The act of remembering is like taking a movie out of the can, putting it on a projector and sitting in front of the screen to retrieve that scene and live it again.
Super8 is the second installment of the trilogy "Common Places" failure-forgetfull paradise.
